I am SO in love with these tree pictures! My dad was interested in photography all his life, taking thousands of photos over the course of his 74 yrs on earth. He spent many hours pouring over his photography magazines, reading, studying, and looking at the pictures, analyzing the elements that went into the taking of magazine-worthy photos. He would get so excited sometimes, he just couldn't contain his enthusiasm, and was often heard to exclaim, "Gee-miny! I WISH I took that!" That's exactly what I thought when I saw these beautiful tree photos - Gee-miny! I wish I took those! (And how CUTE you look peeking out from that tree trunk!! You ought to frame that!)

As for messages getting to the right people, you don't have to have been in the accident or have even seen the accident. If you are reading this and are one who neglects to wear your seatbelt, this message is for you. Wear your seatbelts! And do not even turn on your vehicle until every single person in your car is buckled in!

Oh, wow! That poor precious man! I've said most of what I have to say elsewhere, but - his wedding ring? How did he lose his wedding ring? Had he dropped it? Was he trying to find it when he lost control of the vehicle?

I'm so thankful he survived, and that none of the rest of you were hurt by the flying pole or the car.

I know he was grateful to you for getting the message to his mother. Bless their hearts! Phone calls like that can take years off a mother's life.

I wish more people would develop the ability to get along with all sorts like you have. People-watching is one of my favorite pastimes. They never fail to amuse, especially when they start talking crazy-like and you utilize the nodding technique you mentioned. Fantastic free entertainment!

Thank you for spelling this out! This is quite timely, but I noticed one item is missing that apparently needs to be stated:

Please don't take your shoes off in the library because your feet hurt, then wander around the library without them. There are those who do not appreciate your making yourself at home in this manner; it's probably against the health code; and finally, there are those rascally ones in every library who can and will take your $300 shoes and hide them in the French Literature section, either on a lark, or because they think you won't remember you wore shoes into the library when you step out in the February snow, and that they will later be able return to claim said shoes as their own!

It's really too bad someone hasn't told this to one of the members of my family who shall remain nameless (mostly because I am totally humiliated that he would do such a thing). Oy! A woman's job is never done!

This is so timely and perfect ~ we just got assigned a date that we each have to attend a meeting at Headquarters on "How to get along with dificult patrons" - mine's April 13th. I said, "What!?? I could teach that class!" Yes, it is a gift and it usually helps if those from whom you've gotten your experience are related. ha ha By the way...those pretzels...watch out Auntie Anne!!
